Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Location Manager to oversee daily operations, staff performance, safety, and production activities at a regional agricultural facility. This role functions as the on-site leader and is responsible for driving operational efficiency, delivering excellent customer service, ensuring product quality, and supporting the development and success of the team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all location operations and act as the primary decision-maker for daily activities.

  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise location staff; conduct annual performance reviews.

  • Champion a strong safety culture by implementing company safety programs and ensuring compliance.

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction for all seed or agricultural products produced, processed, or delivered by the location.

  • Oversee production processes to ensure products meet all established quality standards.

  • Manage and maintain the location’s Quality Management System (ISO) and serve as the ISO representative.

  • Communicate business goals, expectations, and operational strategy to all employees.

  • Ensure staffing levels align with seasonal workloads and customer needs.

  • Develop and manage the annual operating budget; monitor spending and resource allocation.

  • Analyze facility capacity, identify operational gaps, and recommend capital improvements.

  • Lead problem-solving efforts to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field preferred, but not required.

  • Agricultural background or prior experience in seed production or similar operations (minimum four years) strongly preferred.

  • Strong computer skills; advanced proficiency is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, team-oriented approach.

  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate employees.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
