Our client, a respected agricultural cooperative with strong Wisconsin roots, is expanding its Feed Division and seeking an experienced Feed Sales Specialist to serve dairy and livestock producers throughout the Waupun region. Develop and expand relationships with dairy and livestock producers by providing on-farm consultation, feed solutions, and profitability insights.
Make 8–10 strategic sales contacts each day, converting prospects into long-term, credit-worthy customers.
Promote specialized feed and forage products, including additives, minerals, preservatives, and storage solutions that improve herd performance.
Build and manage a call list of 100–150 accounts, assessing buying patterns and positioning the cooperative as the supplier of choice.
Deliver technical service support, including ration balancing, feed budgeting, and production analysis.
Partner with sales management to set goals, track performance, and develop winning account strategies.
Participate in training and professional development programs to enhance your expertise and impact.
What You Bring
A four-year degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Dairy Science, or a related field, or equivalent on-farm and sales experience.
Proven success in feed or agronomy sales with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Self-motivation, integrity, and the ability to organize and execute a territory plan effectively.
Comfort with technology, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
