Position Title: Loan Closing Specialist
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate degree or equivalent business school training.
- Minimum of 2 years equivalent experience; or combination of education and experience.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review closing documents for various loan types
- Ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and internal policies
- Coordinate with internal departments, title companies, and attorneys to schedule and facilitate closings
- Communicate with borrowers to provide closing instructions and answer any questions
- Verify accuracy of loan terms, fees, and disbursement information prior to closing
- Monitor loan pipeline to ensure timely closings and address delays or issues proactively
- Maintain accurate records and update loan management systems as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations
Other Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and imaging software.
- Ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, and exercise critical thinking skills.
- Good telephone and people skills a must.
- Looking for someone who is a self-starter, able to work independently and works well under deadlines.
