Position: Quality Assurance Assistant

Pay: Up to $18.50/hr.

Job Duties:

• Processes bulk seed samples to determine predicted seed sizing and conversion
• Visually inspects all finished seed lots to ensure acceptable seed appearance
• Processes and submits samples for quality lab analysis
• Works with warehouse employees to probe carryover seed according to customer requests
• Monitors finished crop quality results and initiates actions with location managers when problems are noted.
• Initiates and releases on-hold-seed, within location warehouses and inventory systems
• Helps with tag printing for bagging operations
• Utilizes Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Helps with maintaining inventory
• Maintains a neat, clean, and organized work area
