Job Description:

• Facility Operations: Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of grain, ensuring proper handling and quality standards are met.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule staff, ensuring a productive and motivated workforce.
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain equipment, including conveyors, dryers, and scales, ensuring proper functionality and coordinating repairs as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety procedures, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Inventory Management: Monitor grain inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and manage logistics for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Customer Service: Build and maintain relationships with farmers, suppliers, and customers, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Budget and Reporting: Assist in budget planning, track expenses, and generate reports on facility performance and grain handling activities.
• Problem-Solving: Respond to operational challenges, such as equipment breakdowns or grain quality issues, and implement effective solutions.

What makes you a good fit?

• Previous experience in grain, grain management, agriculture, management, grain superintendent, agronomy.
• Previous leadership experience with proven ability to coach and train employees.
• Working knowledge of operations with quality control and safety.
• Able to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing to submit to a DOT drug test and background.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
